ABOUT ISLAND CHUTE CLEANING SERVICES

On August 25th, 2024, Island Bin Cleaners CEO Mafi Kaufusi tragically and unexpectedly passed away. In the wake of this loss, Mafi’s eldest son, who had been working alongside his father in the business since its inception, stepped up to carry on his father's legacy. This inspired him to start a new company, carrying forward the same mission and promise in honor of his father.​

Island Chute Cleaning Services stands as a pillar of cleanliness and environmental stewardship in Kapolei, HI. Originally founded as Island Bin Cleaners in 2017, the company was built on the simple yet meaningful mission of offering the community affordable, eco-friendly bin cleaning services—something the islands had never seen before. As the company grew, it expanded into trash chute cleaning, honing this service over time and making it one of its core offerings. Being part of this community, we recognized the need for such an innovative service, and it was with this vision that Kalai chose to carry on the company’s legacy.

Since our inception in 2017, we have stuck steadfastly to our commitment to helping our fellow community members live healthier lives by eliminating harmful bacteria from very commonly used items: waste disposal bins.
